Job summary

PowerPlay NYC is seeking a Program Manager for the STARS Series to design experiences, lead site implementation, and strengthen community partnerships. You will guide coaches and staff, use data to improve quality, and promote PowerPlay’s mission and values.

You will work with schools and community partners to deliver high-quality programming, manage multiple projects, and communicate priorities clearly. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years’ work experience in education, youth development, nonprofit programming, or related field.
• Experience creating, managing, or improving youth-centered programs, events, curricula, or partnerships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage STARS Series plans, activities, and events aligned with the mission.
• Recruit, onboard, support, and evaluate 30+ coaches and volunteers.
• Coordinate relationships with schools, CBOs, and partners to expand impact.
• Plan and facilitate trainings, meetings, and events for coaches and staff.
• Manage data collection, enrollment forms, surveys, and program documentation.
• Prepare monthly summaries and impact stories for stakeholders.
