Job summary

The Public Health Management Corporation seeks a STARS Quality Coach for the ELRC 18 region. You will guide early education and school-age practitioners toward quality by leading a continuous improvement process, promoting STARS participation, and providing targeted professional development for STAR level progression.

You will collaborate with grants partners to access STARS grants and supports. You will review evidence, interpret standards, and recommend actions to providers, ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following criteria: Bachelor’s in ECE or related field.
• Three years of work experience in early care and education and/or human services.
• Experience with outreach, needs assessment, planning, marketing, or public speaking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with a caseload of practitioners.
• Deliver coaching and presentations to promote continuous quality improvement.
• Assist providers with grants, awards, andSTAR movements.
• Help practitioners set annual professional development plans aligned to STARS.
• Provide professional development tied to STAR level movement in ELRC 18.
• Record progress in QRIS, PD Registry, and other systems; report on program progress.
