Job summary

The Elyton in Birmingham, AL is seeking a focused Shift Supervisor for the Starbucks area to help run daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will guide team members, ensure prompt service, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests and hotel patrons.

Ideal candidates will have hospitality or beverage-service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work well within a team across flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior Food & Beverage, Coffee/Barista, Restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate pertinent information to store manager regarding shift performance.
• Assist with training and coaching of team members.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure operational excellence.
• Develop positive relationships with team members and recognize achievements.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests with a warm, service-oriented approach.
• Execute store operations during scheduled shifts and maintain attendance.
