Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Starbucks Manager in Morgantown, WV to oversee day-to-day coffee shop operations, drive guest satisfaction, manage costs, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service. This exempt, full-time position reports to the Director of Food & Beverage and involves budgeting, marketing, and staff development.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business or 1–2 years of related experience, plus strong leadership, budgeting, and POS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage team performance and guest interactions.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in using basic computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to read and interpret operational documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all coffee shop operations, including guest service, product quality, cost control, and profitability.

• Manage budgets and review financial transactions to ensure expenses are authorized and within budget.
• Maintain food and equipment inventories, keeping accurate records.
• Develop weekly staff schedules based on forecasted occupancy, managing labor costs according to budget.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, complying with the dress code.

Job Summary: The Coffee Shop Manager oversees and organizes the operations of a hotel’s food and beverage outlet, ensuring exceptional guest service and financial success. This role manages team performance, controls costs, implements marketing initiatives, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and push/pull up to 25 lbs.

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
