Responsibilities
- Increase sales through effective marketing and merchandising of products.
- Assist in supervising and directing department personnel to ensure quality customer service.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to associates according to duty rosters.
- Order, maintain stock and supplies, and monitor their condition and appearance.
- Manage product rotation and remove out-of-date items.
- Hold personnel accountable for their duties.
- Prepare department schedules, considering requests and business needs.
- Assist customers with specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and appeal of the customer service area and equipment.
- Demonstrate Customer 1st Behavior in customer interactions.
- Prepare various customer beverage orders, including espresso drinks.
- Adhere to all Starbucks programs, policies, and promotions.
- Follow store policies for operational flow at each station.
- Perform cleaning tasks as per standards and work as a team player.
- Present oneself professionally and communicate clearly with customers and partners.
- Perform equipment maintenance per preventative checklists.
- Follow cash handling and register policies.
- Follow inventory guidelines for stocking and recording.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
- Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
- Adhere to company policies on dress code, grooming, sanitation, and harassment-free environment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
