Responsibilities include:
- Increasing sales through effective marketing and merchandising of products in the department.
- Assisting in supervision and direction of department personnel to ensure quality customer service.
- Delegating job assignments and responsibilities to associates in accordance with duty rosters.
- Ordering and maintaining stock and supplies, monitoring conditions and appearance throughout the department.
- Monitoring code dates and product rotation, removing out-of-date products.
- Holding personnel accountable for their job responsibilities.
- Writing department schedules, coordinating requests, bids, and business needs.
- Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales.
- Maintaining a clean and appealing customer service area and equipment.

- Preparing a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Day.
- Executing and adhering to all Starbucks programs, policies, and promotions.
- Following store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station.

- Presenting oneself professionally, with clear communication in all interactions.
- Performing equipment maintenance per preventative checklists.
- Following cash handling and register policies.
- Following inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
