Job Summary: Create the Starbucks experience for Food City shoppers by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company mission to “Run the Best Store in Town!”
2. Assist store management in opening and closing kiosk operations.
3. Ensure consistent quality of beverages, whole beans, and food products by adhering to standards.
4. Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the culture, values, and mission of Food City and Starbucks.
5. Take customer orders, ensure timely completion, and customer satisfaction.
6. Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products, rotating items for quality and safety.
7. Maintain a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
8. Engage with customers, offer product information, suggestive selling, and sampling.
9. Process transactions using POS system.
10. Apply problem-solving skills to address customer, team, and business issues.
11. Encourage team to meet store goals and results.
12. Operate tools and equipment safely, following policies and procedures.
13. Enforce food safety and handling procedures.
14. Attend scheduled shifts and adhere to attendance policies.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience is a plus but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn various coffee and tea products and ingredients.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Effective communication skills.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts.
