Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for efficiently directing and supervising all Coffee Shop associates to provide high-quality customer service, achieve sales and profit goals, and ensure that work shifts contribute to the store’s financial health. Complete all other duties as assigned promptly.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  1. Order and maintain inventory to ensure freshness, quality, and turnover.
  2. Check and verify receivables for amount, quality, count or weight, condition, and store in appropriate areas.
  3. Brew, mix, and blend beverages according to set standards.
  4. Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines.
  5. Train others in all department activities, including suggestive selling techniques.
  6. Manage the selection, scheduling, and supervision of team members to meet or exceed productivity levels.
  7. Familiarize with all products, knowing differences in price, taste, preparation, and use.
  8. Prepare food items following procedures.
  9. Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
  10. Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  2. Proficient with computers (email, spreadsheets, etc.).
  3. Ability to read, write, understand, and interpret documents.
  4. Accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  5. Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
  6. Develop and manage budgets.
  7. Ability to delegate, direct, and implement tasks.
  8. Knowledge of suggestive selling and products.
  9. Detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands include lifting/moving up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and turning are required. The environment may include varied temperatures, outside weather, and noise levels from low to moderate. Travel requirements vary.
