  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of products to respond to inquiries and suggest items.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Prepare beverages according to recipes and standards, using proper equipment; process transactions following best practices.
  • Offer samples to help customers discover new products and inform them of specials.
  • Provide customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommend products to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use all coffee shop equipment properly and maintain inventory and labeling.
  • Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate actions.
  • Ensure safety by adhering to safety procedures, inspecting equipment, and reporting hazards or incidents.
  • Perform all essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
