Key responsibilities include:

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and offering suggestions.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Prepare beverage selections according to recipes and standards, and handle transactions properly.
  • Offer product samples and inform customers about specials.
  • Provide ordered products with correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommend items to customers to meet their needs.
  • Use and maintain equipment safely and properly, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens.
  • Ensure product quality, review sell-by dates, and manage inventory.
  • Report discrepancies and safety issues to management.
  • Follow safety procedures and food safety regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment needs.
  • Report accidents and safety risks promptly.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek help when needed.
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
