Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead Starbase Development projects in Starbase, TX. You will oversee end-to-end civil construction across residential, commercial, and industrial settings to support rapid Starship production.

You will coordinate with design teams, utilities, and municipal authorities to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include managing permits, contracts, and field resolutions while aligning with long-term master planning for Starbase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil infrastructure projects end-to-end, including design, permitting, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Own project scope, schedule, and budget from conception through closeout for residential subdivisions, commercial amenities and community recreational projects; actively drive projects to meet target budgets and timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between design teams, utility operational teams, facilities maintenance groups, stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and local municipal or utility authorities having jurisdiction.
• Manage permitting and inspection processes with internal utility operational teams, and local jurisdictions and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Write, negotiate, and manage design and construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time, prioritizing pragmatic, fast-moving solutions.
• Support with long-term utility and civil planning for future phases of development and master planning for Starbase.
• Take on new projects ad-hoc as the business needs.
