JOB DESCRIPTION

Stanton for Congress seeks a driven and sharp Political Manager to join our team and help power a winning campaign in Arizona. This is a high-impact role in which this individual will cultivate and maintain relationships with elected officials, labor unions, community groups, and other key stakeholders around Arizona’s Fourth Congressional District and the state.

  • Execute political outreach strategy in coordination with senior campaign staff
  • Maintain relationships with local and state elected officials, Democratic groups, community organizations, advocacy groups, labor unions, and other key stakeholders
  • Coordinate campaign partners, volunteers, and staff to implement voter-contact programs and maximize voter engagement throughout the district.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for endorsement outreach
  • Staff the candidate at political events, community meetings, and stakeholder engagements
  • Identify and cultivate new relationships and endorsement opportunities
  • Monitor Arizona political and legislative developments
  • Assist with other tasks as needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Work individually and collectively in a fast-paced and changing environment while adhering to strict event/finance deadlines and campaign finance rules
  • Exercise discretion and responsible independent judgment with attention to detail
  • Work respectfully, effectively, and tactfully with the public and campaign supporters
  • Commitment to the values and ideals of the Democratic Party

Salary: $6000 - $7000 monthly, based upon prior experience.

Job Requirements:

This is a full-time, campaign-cycle position. Individuals applying to be the Political Associate should have at least two cycles of relevant campaign experience, preferable in Arizona.
