Job summary

The Wellsville Group dba Ashley is hiring a Standing Lift Driver for our Batavia, NY Distribution Center. You will receive and unload shipments, verify accuracy, inspect for damages, and maintain a clean, safe work area. You will operate standing lifts up to 40 feet and comply with all safety procedures.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. Base pay starts at $18.00/hour with potential to reach $19.00/hour after 90 days, plus weekly pay and incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift furniture up to 100 lbs+.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming product; verify shipment accuracy and inspect for damage or defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and operate standing lift up to 40 feet.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift if certified.
• Follow SOPs and meet daily/weekly/monthly performance targets.
• Promote safety and assist team members as needed.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Annually

Our Batavia, New York Distribution Center is hiring for Standing Lift Driver immediately! As a Standing Lift Driver, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming shipments, ensuring the accuracy of products, and inspecting for any damage, defects, or discrepancies. You will maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while operating various equipment. The role also involves using standing lifts to pick and pull products up to 40 feet above ground level. A strong focus on safety and adherence to standard operating procedures is essential, with the goal of consistently meeting performance targets.

• Weekly pay – this position starts at $18/hour, with opportunity to advance to $19 after 90 days

What You’ll Do as a Standing Lift Driver:

• Receive & unload incoming product while verifying accuracy of shipment & inspection for damages loss, or defects
• Maintain product, tools, equipment, & work area in a clean, orderly & safe manner
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift (if applicable/certified)
• Operate a standing lift; pick/pull product up to 40 feet above ground level
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures & ensure daily/weekly/monthly performance levels are achieved
• Strong commitment to safety policies & procedures and ability to promote awareness with team members

What We’re Looking For in a Standing Lift Driver:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Physical strength to lift furniture up to 100lbs.+
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior lift experience, preferred
