Job summary

The Wellsville Group in Batavia, NY is hiring a Standing Lift Driver to receive, unload, and inspect shipments and to operate standing lifts to move products up to 40 feet high. You will keep the area clean and safe while meeting daily performance goals and following SOPs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the physical strength to lift up to 100 lbs. The company offers a Desirable full-time schedule, weekly pay, health insurance, PTO, holidays, 401K,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming product, verify shipment accuracy and inspect for damage.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and operate equipment (dolly, pallet jack, forklift if certified).
• Use standing lift to pick/pull products up to 40 feet high and meet performance targets.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies to promote a safe team environment.

Job description

Our Batavia, New York Distribution Center is hiring for Standing Lift Driver immediately! As a Standing Lift Driver, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming shipments, ensuring the accuracy of products, and inspecting for any damage, defects, or discrepancies. You will maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while operating various equipment. The role also involves using standing lifts to pick and pull products up to 40 feet above ground level. A strong focus on safety and adherence to standard operating procedures is essential, with the goal of consistently meeting performance targets.

• Desirable full-time schedule - Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
• Weekly pay – this position starts at $18/hour, with opportunity to advance to $19 after 90 days
• Pay incentives –additional incentives based on responsibilities, performance & attendance. *As a standing lift operator, you have the potential to add up to $100/week to your paycheck

What You’ll Do as a Standing Lift Driver

• Receive & unload incoming product while verifying accuracy of shipment & inspection for damages loss, or defects
• Maintain product, tools, equipment, & work area in a clean, orderly & safe manner
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift (if applicable/certified)
• Operate a standing lift; pick/pull product up to 40 feet above ground level
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures & ensure daily/weekly/monthly performance levels are achieved
• Strong commitment to safety policies & procedures and ability to promote awareness with team members

• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior lift experience, preferred
