Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is hiring Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. If you have experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment, you could thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotating schedule and obtain OSHA 10 & DOT credentials if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW‑1MW).
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators.
• Prepare accurate quotes for repairs and complete/work orders.
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators.
• Demonstrate safety awareness and comply with safety policies.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team.
• Possess own tools (multimeter, hand tools, etc.).
