Qualifications

  • 10+ years in journalism across broadcast, cable, digital, or print.
  • Deep experience in political and business/financial journalism.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels.
  • Open to new approaches in content and storytelling.
  • Exceptional news and editorial judgment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide editorial guidance across digital, broadcast, and streaming platforms.
  • Offer real-time guidance on breaking news to ensure accuracy and ethics.
  • Work with reporting teams to ensure adherence to guidelines and standards.
  • Review digital text, social video, podcasts, and promos for accuracy.
  • Review scripts and packages for shows on MS NOW and CNBC, advising as needed.
  • Support corrections, retractions, and responses to complaints.
  • Collaborate with legal and rights clearance teams when needed.
  • Assist with weekend on-call duties on a monthly basis.
