Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Standards Engineer to liaison with Marmon Innovation & Technology and manufacturing sites on industry standards, listings, and regulatory compliance. You will support product development, testing, and audits across multiple locations.

The role requires collaborating with UL and other agencies, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with engineering teams; travel will be necessary to sites and laboratories as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field required; OR an Associate degree with relevant industry experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, testing, and certification processes.
• Computer proficiency with databases and technical software; programming experience a plus.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, testing requirements, and engineering documentation.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented professional capable of working independently.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication across locations.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend industry standards committee meetings and provide technical input.
• Coordinate with manufacturing personnel and engineers on standards implementation.
• Visit certification and listing agencies and follow up on projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and project files.
• Coordinate product testing activities and document results.
• Prepare technical reports and certification submissions.
• Support UL/ISO/IEC 17025 compliance across multiple facilities.
• Travel to facilities, labs, and meetings as needed.
