Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC is seeking a Standards Engineer to liaise between Marmon Innovation & Technology and manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on standards development, product listings, certifications, and regulatory compliance across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will participate in industry standards committees, coordinate testing, maintain documentation, and support audits with UL and other agencies. Travel may be required to facilities and labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is required
• Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered
• Experience with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and certification processes is expected
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards
• Strong documentation and project-management skills
• Programming experience is a plus if applicable

Responsibilities

• Attend industry standards committee meetings and provide input
• Coordinate with manufacturing personnel on standards interpretation
• Visit certification/listing agencies and follow up on approvals
• Maintain technical documentation and project files
• Coordinate product testing and document results
• Support UL/CSA certification activities and audits
• Travel to facilities, labs, and listings agencies as needed
• Prepare technical reports and certification submissions
