Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC is seeking a Standards Engineer to bridge Marmon Innovation & Technology with multiple manufacturing facilities. You will shape industry standards, support product listings and certifications, and drive qualification testing while coordinating with engineering and operations across locations.

The role demands collaboration with certification agencies, documentation rigor, and the ability to travel for facility visits, audits, and committee meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; OR an Associate degree with relevant industry experience.
• Experience with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and certification processes.
• Willingness to travel to facilities, labs, and listing agencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend industry standards committee meetings and provide technical input.
• Coordinate with engineers, manufacturing personnel, and stakeholders on standards interpretation.
• Visit certification/listing agencies and follow up on approvals and audits.
• Maintain technical documentation and project files.
• Coordinate product testing and ensure data is properly recorded.
• Track status of active development programs and report findings.
• Support UL and other agencies for listings, audits, and maintenance of files.
