Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking Standardized Patients to portray staff and patient situations for medical, behavioral, and communication training. SPs perform standardized cases, including non-invasive physical exams, and assess learners from a patient/family perspective with feedback.

SPs must be available and flexible for upcoming events in Baltimore, Randallstown, and Westminster, and receive training in examination techniques and communication skills. 1+ year SP experience is required.

Qualifications

• Entry level knowledge and basic employment skills.
• High School diploma, GED equivalent or high School certificate.
• At least 1 year of SP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Portray standardized cases to train learners and assess them from a patient perspective.
• Provide objective feedback using checklists or during debriefing sessions.
• Maintain availability and flexibility for upcoming SP events in specified locations.

Job Summary: Standardized Patients (SPs) are trained to portray both staff and patient situations, serving as models for learners to train and test on medical, behavioral, and communication competencies. They perform standardized cases, including non-invasive physical exams, and assess learners from a patient/family perspective, providing objective feedback and using checklists or debriefing sessions as directed by faculty. SPs receive training in physical examination techniques, communication competencies and evaluating and giving constructive feedback to learners.

SPs must be willing to maintain availability and flexibility to be "cast" for upcoming SP events based on specific case profiles requested by facilities in Baltimore, Randallstown and Westminster.

Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate. At least 1 year of SP experience required.

Pay Range: $28.00 to $28.00
