Job summary

Lakeside Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a skilled 1st Shift Assembler to join our team. You will perform precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

The 1st shift runs Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime on Fridays as needed. Our culture emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic parts by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, riveting or spot welding.
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products.
• Operate computer to enter work orders and print labels.
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and records.
• Follow safety rules and maintain housekeeping standards.

Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Assembler to join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Schedule: 4-day workweek - Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts
• Shift: 1st Shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Overtime: As needed, additional hours are available on Fridays

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble basic parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts together
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products
• Operate the computer to enter work orders and print labels
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-2 years related experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.
• Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
