Lakeside Manufacturing, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a 1st Shift Custom Assembler to join our stainless steel utility cart team. This role emphasizes precision welding and assembly to meet exacting specifications and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, assemble custom parts, perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks, and document work orders. We offer a 4-day workweek, early start 5:00 am, Fridays overtime, strong safety culture, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom parts by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, riveting or spot welding.
• Perform some plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products.
• Operate computer to enter work orders and print labels.
• Inspect parts and products for quality.
• Complete and maintain paperwork and records.
• Follow safety and work rules and regulations.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Custom Assemblerto join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Schedule: 4-day workweek – Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts
• Shift: 1st Shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Overtime: As needed, additional hours are available on Fridays

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble custom parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts together
• Some plumbing and electrical
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products
• Operate the computer to enter work orders and print labels
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-3 years related experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
