Job summary

Lakeside Manufacturing in the United States is seeking a skilled 1st Shift Assembler to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

The position offers a 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts) with overtime available on Fridays. Our culture is team-oriented, safety-first, with free coffee and a welcoming lunchroom, supporting growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with 1–2 years related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Ability to read blueprints and work independently or in a team.
• Math skills for basic arithmetic and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic parts by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, riveting or spot welding.
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products.
• Operate computer to enter work orders and print labels.
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records and documentation.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.

Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Assembler to join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Schedule: 4-day workweek - Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts
• Overtime: As needed, additional hours are available on Fridays
• Work Environment: Culture forward, team-oriented, safety-first, free coffee, nice lunchroom

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble basic parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts together
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products
• Operate the computer to enter work orders and print labels
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-2 years related experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.
• Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to Electro Magnetic Fields. EMF fields can interfere with some medical implants, including pacemakers.
