Lakeside Manufacturing in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a skilled 1st Shift Custom Assembler to join our stainless steel cart team and produce parts that meet exacting customer specifications.

You will perform precision welding and assembly, read blueprints, and ensure quality while adhering to safety rules. The role offers a 4-day workweek (Mon-Thu, 10 hours) with occasional overtime on Fridays and a culture focused on teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts together.
• Some plumbing and electrical work.
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products.
• Operate the computer to enter work orders and print labels.
• Inspect parts and products for quality standards.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.

Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Custom Assembler to join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Schedule: 4-day workweek - Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts
• Overtime: As needed, additional hours are available on Fridays
• Work Environment: Culture forward, team-oriented, safety-first, free coffee, nice lunchroom

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble custom parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts together
• Some plumbing and electrical

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 3-5 years related experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
