Job summary

PrideStaff in Elwood, IL is seeking a Stand-up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. Safely operate stand-up forklifts to load, unload, pick, and store products, supporting on-time order fulfillment.

Shifts are 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 5:30am–2:00pm. Pay rate is $22.19 per hour with overtime opportunities and weekly pay. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and attention to safety. Candidates must wear steel-toe footwear and be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of recent forklift experience (stand-up).
• Must have the physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs safely and consistently.
• Bonus points for Battery and Propane Safety Training/Certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts to keep orders moving and customers happy.
• Master the art of loading, unloading, picking, putting away, and consolidating pallets.
• Assist with manual case picking when directed.
• Prepare and ship products with accuracy and care.
• Conduct outbound load audits, correct labels and count discrepancies; replenish products in the right bays.
• Tackle other duties within training and expertise.
