Job summary

Randstad USA in Chambersburg, PA is hiring a dedicated stand up forklift operator to support inventory readiness in a fast-moving distribution center. The role focuses on maintaining constant material flow and ensuring products are available for picking teams.

You will work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, perform replenishment, move pallets from high racks to floor storage, and navigate busy lanes safely using signals and horns.

Qualifications

• Successful PIT test required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute replenishment of picking tunnels and forward stock using the stand up forklift.
• Move full pallet loads from reserve storage (high racks) down to floor or lower-level storage areas as instructed by the WMS.
• Safely navigate the stand up forklift through busy warehouse lanes, using horns and signals to alert pedestrians and other operators.
• Assist in organizing and condensing reserve inventory storage areas to maximize space efficiency.
• Complete accurate documentation of moves, manually or via mounted device, ensuring tasks are logged correctly.

Your responsibilities:

• Prioritize and execute the timely replenishment of picking tunnels and forward stock locations using the stand up forklift.
• Move full pallet loads from reserve storage (high racks) down to floor or lower-level storage areas as dictated by the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Safely navigate the stand up forklift through busy warehouse lanes, utilizing horns and signals to alert pedestrian traffic and other machinery operators.
• Assist in organizing and condensing reserve inventory storage areas to maximize space efficiency.
• Complete accurate documentation of moves, either manually or via a mounted device, ensuring all replenishment tasks are logged correctly.

qualifications:

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
