Job summary

Randstad USA in Hillsborough, NC is seeking a forklift operator to perform high-level rack work and pallet handling using a PIT forklift. You will replenish inventory just-in-time for picking lanes and log movements with RF scanners.

The role requires safe staging of shipments, inbound receiving, and adherence to capacity guidelines during production speeds. Candidates must successfully complete a PIT test.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• Perform high-level rack work, accurately placing and retrieving palletized goods from multiple rack levels, requiring confident use of the forklift's full lifting capacity.
• Execute just-in-time replenishment of inventory to picking lanes to ensure zero downtime for order fulfillment teams.
• Utilize RF scanning technology in conjunction with forklift operation to electronically verify and log the movement and storage locations of all pallets.
• Safely stage outbound shipments and manage inbound receiving loads, ensuring efficient use of dock space.
• Operate at required production speeds while strictly maintaining control and adhering to load capacity and stability guidelines.

Location: Hillsborough, NC

Work hours: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

Dress code:

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
