Job summary

Petco is seeking a Receiving Associate to pull, package, and move merchandise in our warehouse. You will operate powered material handling equipment and handheld scanners, ensuring accurate counts and on-time shipments.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting a fast-paced team. The first shift runs 5:00am–1:30pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to repetitively lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Pulls merchandise from storage locations and prepares for shipment.
• Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Replenishes inventory stock and conducts regular inventory checks.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise.
• Packages merchandise for shipment with proper labeling.
