Job summary

Serv-U-Success is seeking a forklift operator to support receiving, replenishment and loading in our distribution warehouse. This key role uses powered equipment and RF scanners to move product and ensure accurate inventory.

Hours run 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or longer until orders are complete; days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat with Thu/Sun off. Pay is $17 per hour. The company values safety, teamwork and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Interpersonal communication proficiency to communicate issues with managers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Tag outbound trucks for pick-up/delivery.
• Use forklift or Hi-Lo to receive inbound product, move stored product, and load outbound product.
• Break down palletized loads for staging and storage.
• Ability to use RF Scanner to check product into and out of the facility.
• Perform bin audits throughout pick module using RF scanner.
• Accurately replenish product bins using RF scanner and forklift.
• Perform inventory cycle counts using RF scanner.
• Correctly pick product from bin locations using an automated voice-pick system.
• Identify product bin numbers from bin labels.
• Ensure product picked is accurate and gently placed on pallets to prevent damage.
• Use powered hand-jack to move product around the warehouse.
• Correctly label and wrap outbound pallets.
• Inform shift supervisor of any discrepancies in product ordered to actual product stored in bin.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Keep work area clean by picking up pallets, plastic, cardboard, paper and scrap pieces of wood and place in designated areas.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
