Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support fulfillment operations. The role involves picking, packing, and shipping merchandise, utilizing voice-picking tech, and maintaining accurate stock levels across storage areas.

The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass certification for powered equipment, and operate with safety and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution setting. Training and benefits are provided, with an hourly pay rate for 1st shift.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Basic math proficiency.
Ability to repetitively lift/move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Repetitively places/pulls merchandise up to 50 pounds using RF device or voice system.
Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment.
Performs inventory counts and reconciles with records.
Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise using powered equipment.
Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked to maintain inventory levels.
Packages merchandise for shipment with correct labels and sizes.
Moves bulky non-conveyable items to storage locations.
