Petco is hiring for a warehouse associate to pull, pack and ship merchandise in a fast-paced store-support environment. You will stock, count inventory, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. This role starts on the 1st shift (4:00am–12:30pm) in California, offering competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to repetitively lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Pulls merchandise from storage locations. Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment.
• Replenishes inventory stock and performs inventory activities.
• Operates powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Packages merchandise for shipment with correct labels.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks.
