Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Austin, TX is actively seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse and shipping operations. You will operate a stand-up forklift, ensure accurate receiving, movement and loading of products, and maintain inventory accuracy while adhering to safety, GMPs and food safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months in material handling, forklift certification, and the ability to read and understand shipping documents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months material handling experience in a warehouse.
• Stand-up forklift experience and ability to obtain/certify forklift certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read shipping docs, load charts, and Bills of Lading.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with inventory/documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in production/warehouse areas.
• Flexible hours based on operational needs.
• Ability to work in freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks accurately and efficiently per load charts and schedules.
• Read and interpret Bills of Lading and shipping docs.
• Complete paperwork including BOLs, Sales Orders, and Pre-Load Inspection Forms.
• Perform product consolidations and BIN transfers.
• Operate a stand-up forklift safely.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and equipment check sheets.
• Perform inventory cycle counts (scheduled and unscheduled).
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse organization.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Comply with USDA, FDA and company regulations.
• Support warehouse, inventory and shipping operations as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
