Job summary

Campbell's is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse and shipping operations in Austin, TX. You will operate a stand-up forklift, ensure inventory accuracy, and assist with loading and documentation to meet distribution schedules.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months warehouse experience, and forklift certification readiness. Ability to read shipping docs and lift up to 75 lbs, with willingness to work in cold environments and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months material handling experience in a warehouse.
• Stand-up forklift experience and ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents, load charts, and Bills of Lading.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with inventory and documentation.
• Ability to work safely while following company policies, GMPs, safety procedures, and food safety requirements.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work throughout production and warehouse environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs.
• Ability to work in freezer environments for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks accurately according to load charts and shipping schedules.
• Read and interpret Bills of Lading, shipping documentation.
• Complete required paperwork on time (BOLs, Sales Orders, Pre-Load Inspection Forms).
• Perform product consolidations and BIN transfers using material handling equipment.
• Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete equipment check sheets.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as scheduled or unscheduled.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse organization.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, safety guidelines, and PPE requirements.
• Comply with USDA, FDA, and company regulations.
• Support warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.
