Kloeckner Metals Corporation is looking for a Stand-up Forklift Operator to safely operate the forklift while performing various warehouse duties. You will be responsible for material handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.

This role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. A reliable work history and relevant technical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
• Proficiency in basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to carry out instructions in written and oral form.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Must be detail-oriented with focus on precision.

Responsibilities

• Drive the stand-up forklift and control the movement of lifting apparatus.
• Position lifting forks under loaded pallets and stack materials.
• Maintain material in an efficient and orderly manner.
• Inventory materials on the work floor.
• Inspect materials for damage and report findings.
• Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets.
• Perform routine maintenance on the forklift.
