Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Stand up Forklift Operator in Fontana, CA. You will operate a stand-up forklift to move pallets, perform scanning tasks, and support inventory control to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Now hiring for a Stand up Forklift Operator

Location: Fontana, CA

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Looking for Stand up Forklift Operator jobs in Fontana where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.

This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

Job Duties

• Scanning and processing incoming mail Sorting by zones
• Weighing and Labeling packages
• Moving product in the warehouse for distribution Meeting production goals

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
• 6+ months of previous stand-up forklift equipment experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Stand up Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
