Job summary

The Job Shop in Findlay, Ohio is seeking a warehouse associate with standing up forklift operation experience. The role involves loading/unloading trailers, processing related paperwork, staging inventory, and ensuring compliance with food-grade standards.

Weekend and overtime availability is required, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and a pay rate of $20/hour, paid weekly. Expect 40 hours per week in a full-time position with on-site work at the Findlay facility.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a stand up forklift.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers for warehousing purposes in a safe and timely fashion.
• Understand and complete paperwork correctly (relocation, staging, check sheets, hour sheets).
• Stage sheets determine product sourcing and movement when not in original location.
• Follow procedures for inbound and outbound processes (check sheets).
• Accurately record hours and ensure proper charges for extra labor.
• Perform door and temperature checks to meet food-grade security standards.
• Conduct lift checks to prevent equipment damage and ensure compliance.
• Maintain records to demonstrate compliance with food-grade standards.

Job Duties

• Load and unload trailers for warehousing purposes in a safe and timely fashion.
• Learn understanding of paperwork process and filling out paperwork correctly as follows:Relocation sheets - ensure inventory is correct when moving products.
• Stage sheets - determines where product will be coming from when not in the product’s original row or a row specified for that product.
• Check sheets – a list of procedures that need followed for each customer for inbound and outbound processes.
• Hour sheets - used to charge a customer for extra labor that we don’t usually bill for.
• Door and temp check - ensure food grade security standards.
• Lift checks – used to prevent equipment damage and show we are compliant with our equipment.
• Records to keep show we are compliant with food grade standards.
