Stand Manager at 7 Brew

Starting Salary: $62,000 - position is eligible for quarterly bonus.

Position Summary

The 7 Brew Stand Manager assumes full responsibility for growth, profitable operation, and the preservation of 7 Brew’s culture, mission statement, and values. The Manager is the leader of their crew and maintains genuine connections with them, as well as an understanding of the unique nuances of business at their stand(s). A Stand Manager exemplifies our values and culture every day (on or off the clock) and is a reliable, stable leader the team can lean on in stressful situations. The Stand Manager reports to their Regional Manager and the Above Stand Team.

Responsibilities

• Preserve and promote 7 Brew’s culture, mission statement, and values.
• Lead through our values of Kindness, Speed, and Accuracy.
• Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and scheduling.
• Train and coach new hires and existing staff, ensuring operational excellence and readiness for health inspections.
• Oversee and execute various events with the stand team to ensure proper community engagement.
• Create weekly shift schedules considering crew needs and availability, aiming to maintain low labor costs while ensuring efficient operations.
• Foster team bonding and develop leadership among staff through regular feedback and organized team events.
• Take ownership of solutions.
• Follow and enforce all compliance regulations at the state and federal level.
• Develop new leaders by providing regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas for growth.
• Follow all performance management processes to maintain a fair and consistent environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team, control costs, and maintain high operational standards.
• Proficiency in all operational roles within the stand, from barista duties to shift lead responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Visit the stand outside of scheduled shifts to coach, observe, train & perform administrative duties
• Be available by phone or in person to promptly address any needs
• Regularly work weekends & be available to work holidays, if necessary
• Beginner-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills & Qualifications

• Create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions
• Work carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
• Be able to work outside for prolonged periods, in all weather conditions
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to stand comfortably for hours at a time
• Be able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean in the stand
• Safely walk in between and around cars in the drive thru line
• Safely use a utility knife
• Operate any position in the stand during peak hours
• Maintain awareness of the shift's operations while working a position
• Be able to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues with team members
• Adapt to problems and implement solutions during stressful situations
• Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Effectively lead and direct multiple personality types under pressure
• Has proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with 40+ team members
