Job summary

ABB Inc. in St. Louis is seeking a Utility Grade 17 worker to operate die setting, slit line, auto press, punch press, annealing lead, and crane operations. The role requires adherence to safety policies, PPE usage, and familiarity with press-line setup and quality checks.

You will perform manual handling, inspection, and setup tasks, ensuring parts meet blueprints and inventory tags align with work orders. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Follow ABB safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential production functions for 8 hours daily, 5 days a week.
• Comply with safety policies, PPE requirements, and hazard communications.
• Assist in press-line equipment setup and clear die jams.
• Conduct quality inspections for burrs, chips, and defects; verify dimensions.
• Maintain documentation and follow blueprints and work orders.
• Work overtime, including weekends, to meet production demands.
