Job summary

Fukai-Toyotetsu-Indiana-Corporation---Ftic is hiring skilled Overhead Crane Operators to keep our production moving and our team safe. We are hiring for both 1st and 2nd Shift with a 5:30 AM/PM start time.

Responsibilities include lifting loads with hoists, starting and monitoring machines, inspecting parts for specification conformance, and maintaining safe, organized workstations. Successful candidates will read load charts, perform pre-operation checks, and report any equipment issues

Qualifications

• Experience operating overhead/bridge/gantry cranes.
• Ability to read load charts and lifting instructions.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and identify equipment defects.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping at workstation.
• Communicate abnormal situations to Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead/gantry/bridge cranes to move heavy loads.
• Start and monitor crane operations, control loads safely.
• Inspect pieces for conformance to specs and adjust as needed.
• Maintain documentation and report maintenance issues.
• Suggest equipment/equipment changes to improve efficiency.
• Tend crane controls and assist with standard production tasks.

Immediate openings!FTIC is hiring skilled Overhead Crane Operators to keep our production moving and our team safe. If you’ve got the experience, precision, and focus to handle heavy loads with care — we want you on board!We are looking to hire for both 1st and 2nd Shift with a 5:30 AM/PM start time.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lift work piece manually or using hoist and secure work piece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.Start machine, engages feed, and observes operation.Inspect and measure manufactured work pieces to verify conformance to specifications as required.Move machine controls and guides to adjust machine as needed.Replace worn machine accessories as needed.Tend machine controls and guides to adjust machine as needed.Perform duties in compliance with set procedures.Maintain good housekeeping practices at assigned workstation.Maintain and complete necessary reporting.Communicate all abnormal situations to Team Leader of Group LeaderPerform sample inspection, and testing of parts, components, and materials as needed, to determine conformance to standards.Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.Suggest changes (kaizen) in use of equipment to increase efficiency.Other duties as assigned.Safe operation of overhead, bridge, gantry, or jib cranesAbility to read load charts and lifting instructionsKnowledge of rigging, slings, chains, hooks, and lifting devicesAbility to perform pre-operation inspections and identify equipment defectsBasic mechanical aptitude for reporting maintenance issues
