Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Stamping Press Room Manager to direct all press room production activities, ensuring schedules, quality, and delivery targets are met at optimal costs. You will lead the day-to-day operations, drive safety and continuous improvement, and coordinate with support functions to prevent production interruptions.

The role requires strong leadership, a proven track record in stamping/press room environments, and expertise in IATF/ISO and Lean methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of stamping/press room leadership experience.
• New Program Launch experience required.
• Manufacturing supervisory experience.
• IATF / ISO requirements experience.
• Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement with results.
• Strong communication and decision making skills.
• Motivate teams and delegate authority effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Production Supervisors, Shift Superintendent and stamping team to meet schedules.
• Ensure production, quality and plant safety objectives are met.
• Monitor processes to hit goals and timetables.
• Coordinate with materials, quality, accounting and personnel to avoid interruptions.
• Meet established production goals and milestones.
• Evaluate requirements and determine production schedules.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Track work-in-progress to ensure smooth flow.
• Maintain efficient and safe working practices and facilities.
• Stay updated on safety requirements to keep operations injury-free.
• Improve skills and knowledge of production personnel through training.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards and quality control.
• Set individual objectives by analyzing job functions.
• Participate in HSE&E practices applicable to the role.
• Report accidents, illnesses and HSE&E emergencies.
• Enforce safety procedures and safe working practices.
