Job summary

MiTek Industries in Hazelwood, MO is seeking an experienced press operator to run stamping presses and automate packaging processes. You will help meet daily production goals, report equipment issues, and assist mechanics to keep machinery running smoothly while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading prints, basic geometry, and the ability to work with hand tools and tape measures.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred; related experience optional.
• Able to read and understand prints and schematics.
• Able to use small hand-power tools and tape measure with 1/32-inch increments.
• Able to perform basic math including proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging processes.
• Meet and/or exceed daily production goals.
• Report all machine malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors.
• Assist mechanics to keep press/packaging equipment operational.
• Pack metal connectors and steel components into packaging containers.
