Job summary

Reliance-Worldwide-Corporation- in Cullman, AL is seeking a Stamp­ing Press Operator for 2nd shift. You will run stamping presses and support associates to maintain productivity and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing experience using machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Experience with metal stamping operations including automatic feed punch press lines, tooling, progressive dies, and quick die changes in presses up to 250 tons.
• Familiarity with data entry computer skills (preferred).
• This position requires forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manufacturing Lead with press efficiency and productivity.
• Assist with preparation for start of work to ensure presses are ready.
• Post all work orders at the end of working day for following day.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained in the press area.
• Notify Manufacturing Lead of any unsafe conditions or associates not performing work safely or productively.
• Ensure dies are set up to meet production demand.
• Ensure press area is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain an organized environment in the press area throughout the day.
• Ensure daily clean-up of press area.
• Ensure scrap bins are emptied as needed.
• Ensure bulk storage area is clean and organized at all times.
• Assist Lead with press room inventory.
• Conduct press room inventory monthly, quarterly, and yearly (as needed).
• Maintain an accurate physical count on inventory of all products at all times.
• Maintain Company quality standards in all press room activities.
• Observe quality of all production leaving the press area.
• Notify Lead of quality issues and assist with correction of production quality as necessary.
