Job summary

Reliance Worldwide is seeking a Stamping Press Operator for the 2nd shift in Cullman, AL. You will run a stamping press, assist with setup and efficiency, and help maintain safety and quality in the press area.

Responsibilities include daily work order posting, tool/die setup, and regular inventory checks while ensuring a clean, organized workspace and adherence to safety standards. Forklift certification is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing experience using machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Working knowledge of metal stamping operations including automatic feed punch press lines, tooling, progressive dies, and quick die changes in presses up to 250 tons (preferred).
• Familiarity with data entry computer skills (preferred).
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manufacturing Lead with press efficiency and productivity.
• Assist with preparation for start of work to ensure presses are ready
• Post all work orders at the end of working day for following day
• Ensure safety standards are maintained in the press area.
• Notify Manufacturing Lead of any unsafe conditions or associates not performing work safely or productively
• Ensure dies are set up to meet production demand.
• Ensure press area is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain an organized environment in the press area throughout the day
• Ensure daily clean-up of press area
• Ensure scrap bins are emptied as needed
• Ensure bulk storage area is clean and organized at all times
• Assist Lead with press room inventory.
• Conduct press room inventory monthly, quarterly, and yearly (as needed)
• Maintain an accurate physical count on inventory of all products at all times
• Maintain Company quality standards in all press room activities.
• Observe quality of all production leaving the press area
• Notify Lead of quality issues and assist with correction of production quality as necessary
