TE Connectivity in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Temporary Stamping Operator II for the 2nd shift. You will operate high-speed stamping presses, perform quality checks, and manage material flow while maintaining 5S and EH&S standards.

You must read English procedures, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods. Experience with tooling, blueprints, and basic measurement devices is a plus. This position offers a competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written English procedures; understand and follow verbal English instructions.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational or technical training for a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to operate machinery.
• Must be able to move between work zones.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.

Responsabilités

• Operate stamping press and assemble reels at standard production rate.
• Perform quality checks per the quality inspection plan (QIP).
• Take specified measurements per print using gauges and tools.
• Document shift activities (IPCS, repair log).
• Order raw metal and change stock using Andon; thread up die and restart press after training.
• Operate auxiliary equipment and maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Move components and reels between staging areas for re-reel and greasing.
