Job summary

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a Press Tech Group Leader to head stamping operations and build a high-performing team in Ripon, WI. This on-site role requires 5+ years of stamping/manufacturing experience and strong tool and die knowledge to drive SMED, lean initiatives, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years stamping/manufacturing experience with leadership.
• Strong tool and die knowledge and SMED/process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stamping operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
• Optimize stamping processes and troubleshoot tooling, equipment, and production issues.
• Apply tool and die knowledge to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
• Partner with Engineering and Design teams to improve dies, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Lead SMED initiatives to reduce die changeover time and improve production efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, inventory, and WIP through continuous improvement.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for stamping equipment and tooling.
• Monitor production metrics and use data to drive operational improvements.
• Lead manufacturing improvement projects from planning through implementation.
• Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and track schedules, budgets, and results.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback, goal setting, and performance management.
• Conduct team meetings and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and servant leadership.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Safety, Tool Room, Maintenance, and other technical teams.
• Establish annual goals aligned with operational and production metrics.
• Support employee relations matters and work with Union Stewards regarding contract and disciplinary issues.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with manufacturing and safety standards.
