Job summary

Futaba Indiana of America is seeking a Stamping Manager to lead the stamping department, oversee press line scheduling, tooling performance, and staffing, while aligning with TPS principles and FIA objectives. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity improvements across operations in Vincennes, Indiana.

The manager will drive continuous improvement, partner with cross-functional teams, and develop leadership capabilities to sustain production performance and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Automotive Tier 1 manufacturing or supply‑chain experience preferred.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for stamping department operations and meet production targets.
• Coordinate press line scheduling, tooling, and preventive maintenance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost, scrap, and downtime.
• Lead cross-functional collaborations with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control.
• Drive TPS-based continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
