Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Manufacturing, GD&T, and 6-sigma processes.
• Sheet metal materials characteristics, understanding, and computational mechanics.
• Hands-on experience in stamping software (Autoform, LS-Dyna, Pamstamp).
• Hands-on experience in CAD to create surfaces.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to meet program deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform virtual stamping tryout on draw and secondary dies for new vehicle programs.
• Support current volume production model requirements; deliver die developments and simulation results.
• Review simulations submitted and provide feedback.
• Document the status of parts as they progress through the vehicle launch process; maintain project documents.
• Support stamping plant and related activities.
