Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America in Georgia seeks an Equipment Maintenance Stamping Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead a stamping shop maintenance team. You will monitor technical processes, develop action plans, and train staff to improve downtime, PM execution, and safety initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in automated plant maintenance, experience supervising 15+ team members, and reading electrical/mechanical drawings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in automated plant maintenance.
• Experience leading teams of 15+.
• Stamping shop maintenance in automotive industry.
• AB PLC and control circuit experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, monitor, and perform technical processes in the stamping shop to meet goals.
• Report on status of tasks at start, during, and end.
• Develop action plans to meet maintenance index (Downtime, PM, monitoring, improvements).
• Prepare training plans for each team member.
• Prepare and execute annual operation plan and report status.
• Support manager to encourage teamwork and collaboration.
• Analyze stamping shop downtime and propose improvements.
• Flexible schedule based on shifts; cover urgent equipment issues.
• Monitor purchasing, distribution and inventory of maintenance materials.
• Analyze yearly maintenance budget.
• Communicate with manager to resolve conflicts and support staff.
• Mentor staff to drive continuous improvement.

JOB TITLE

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinates, monitors, and performs technical processes related to Stamping shop in maintenance department to meet company goals.
• Report on status of assigned tasks at beginning, during and conclusion.
• Develop detail action plan to meet shop wise maintenance index. (Downtime, PM Plan & Actual, Equipment monitoring system, Equipment improvements, Safety/Environmental etc.)
• Prepare detail training plan for each team member to meet skill level target of each section.
• Prepare & execute annual operation plan and report status of each task.
• Support MGR to encourage good teamwork. (Meeting, Events, Collaboration)
• Analysis Stamping shop downtime and provide improvement plan.
• Need Flexible work schedule based on department shift rotation plan and can be requested to take care any urgent equipment issue (Night, Weekends, Holiday
• Monitor purchasing, distribution and inventory control of maintenance material. (include Tools, Subsidiary materials etc.)
• Analysis shop wise maintenance budget of the year.
• Need good communication with MGR to supervise and control conflicts in the organization and take care individual distress from the work.
• Need to be a mentor for all staffs and shop members to encourage continuous improvement

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• More than 5 years maintenance career in the field of automated plants.
• Experience in managing more than 15 team members.
• Ability to understand drawing and specifications of electrical, mechanical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• More than 2 years Stamping shop maintenance career in major automotive industry
• Holders of mechanical or electrical certifications
• AB PLC program and control circuit experience
• Performed many equipment installations including design study, paperwork, inspection and testing new/modified equipment and processes
• Domestic / International travel required.

Physical Demands

While in Office: This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include:

• Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds)
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed

When in Production Area (if applicable):

• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations
• Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds)
• Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment
• Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively
• Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required
• Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly
• Consistent and punctual attendance
• Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
