Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator for a full-time, direct-hire role in Lombard, IL. The ideal candidate will perform GTAW/TIG welding on stainless steel, read blueprints, and operate fabrication equipment.

You will work with precision measuring tools and maintain quality standards in a team environment. Applicants should have 3+ years of stainless steel TIG welding and fabrication experience, read technical drawings, and be safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of stainless steel welding experience using GTAW/TIG.
• 3+ years in metal fabrication or similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions.
• Strong understanding of welding and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW/TIG welding with emphasis on stainless steel fabrication.
• Operate welding machines and fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate metal fabrication equipment and precision measuring tools.
• Inspect finished work for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
