Job summary

Westaff is seeking a dependable General Assembler in Essex Jct, VT to support the production of stainless-steel convection ovens. You will assemble components, read and interpret oven orders to determine correct parts and build requirements, use hand and power tools, and install doors, racks, trim accessories, and other finishes.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–3:30pm; Friday 6:00am–2:30pm; Saturday overtime if offered. Pay: $21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand repeatedly.
• Basic shop measurement knowledge.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Committed to a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components for ovens using pre‑assembled frames.
• Read and interpret oven orders to determine correct parts and build requirements.
• Fasten parts using pneumatic and manual tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Install doors, racks, trim accessories, and other finishes.
• Install assembled components into ovens.
• Ensure accurate parts selection and build accuracy.
